Family Camp is Coming Soon!!!Ever wonder what exactly your campers are talking about when they share their stories of being Michael-like? Here is your opportunity to share the same fun, faith and adventure with the whole family. Our annual Family Camp is now accepting registrants! Our family camp offers all of the exciting events that our campers get to experience: hiking, swimming, crafts, ropes course and so much more. We offer experienced staff to lead activities for all ages, as well as child care for the wee ones. This allows you parents to put your feet up (or hiking boots on) without worry for the whereabouts or safety of your campers. We encourage families to tailor the weekend to suit their liking, allowing you to participate as a family or as individuals in as much or as little as you like. Each morning will start with a fun and energetic prayer session and evenings will close with a traditional campfire; bringing a great ending to a fun filled day. We will also offer mass on Sunday morning to help close our weekend of family celebration. Our kitchen staff will keep you well fed with delicious meals all weekend long as well as provide snacks throughout the day. Tents are available so there is no need to worry about packing anything but your sense of adventure. Family Camp begins on August 6th and ends on August 8th. We can't wait to see you and your family soon!
Boy's Session Parent Visitation DayOur camping season is finally underway! I hope your campers are gearing up with as much excitement and anticipation as our counselors are experiencing getting prepared for their new charges. We would like to thank you for entrusting your campers into our hands. We would also like to invite you to our Parent Visitation Day. This is your chance to experience first hand the environment your campers have come to, and to meet the people who will be caring for them. Parent visitation day for the Boy's Session will be taking place on Sunday August 1, 2010. Come spend the day participating in camp activities with your camper and their group: See the sights, experience the nature, and become familiar to Camp St. Michael! This invitation is extended to ALL parents including parents of Advanced Campers. Parent's of Adventure/Survival campers are welcome to attend but be aware that your campers will be on their ocean hike and will NOT be in central camp. Parent Visitation day will begin at 3:00pm (no earlier please). We would like to invite you to stay for mass as well as dinner and conclude your visit at 7:00pm.
